Geared is the decision layer for creator hardware. We track every camera, lens, drone, microphone, and light worth shooting with, then turn the noise of specs, reviews, and rumors into a clear answer: buy, consider, or skip.
What we do
We aggregate professional reviews, creator videos, manufacturer specs, and pricing across major retailers. Each product gets a structured profile with a recommendation, a short take, and the receipts to back it up.
Rankings update as new gear ships and as reviews accumulate. We focus on gear creators actually use, not catalog filler.
How we stay honest
Some outbound links earn Geared or a creator a commission. That never changes a recommendation. We only flag gear as a buy if we would put it in our own kit.
We do not accept payment for placement, ranking, or favorable reviews. Manufacturer relationships are disclosed where they exist.
