Our editorial take on the DJI Osmo Action 4 Camera Adventure Combo
The DJI Osmo Action 4 is a capable action camera built around a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor that delivers noticeably better low-light performance and image quality than its predecessor. It shoots 4K at up to 120fps with 10-bit color and D-Log M profile for serious grading flexibility, a meaningful step up from typical action cam output. RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady stabilization keep footage smooth, and the dual touchscreens make framing easy whether you're shooting yourself or the world ahead. Reviewers confirm the battery life is strong, even when pushing 4K 120fps, and appreciate the rugged, waterproof build and intuitive operation.
The Adventure Combo adds extra batteries, a multifunction battery case, and a selfie extension rod, which extends shooting time and versatility on longer adventures. While some note this is a fairly mild upgrade over the Action 3 and not groundbreaking, the consensus is that it's a polished, reliable alternative to GoPro with better image quality than earlier Osmo models. A few reviewers mention the invisible selfie stick feature works only on clips under two minutes, which limits its utility for longer takes.
