DJI has upped its gimbal game with the introduction of the RS 3 and RS 3 Pro models, along with the long-distance O3 Pro Video Transmission system. Both gimbals feature automated axis locks that unlock in lightning-fast time, letting you jump right into the action so you don’t miss that crucial shot.

It's time for a lighter, more efficient gimbal. That is the premise behind DJI's $369 RS 3 Mini.

But, if you think 3kg might be too little for your camera rig, then you should take a look at the DJI RS 3 Pro. It has a maximum payload capacity of 10 pounds (4.5kg) — identical to its predecessor, the RS 2 — and should be more than plenty.

DJI has significantly expanded its gimbal lineup with the RS3 and RS3 Pro models designed for mirrorless and cinema cameras. It also launched some other interesting cinema products derived from the innovative Ronin 4D camera gimbal, including a LiDAR focusing system and "DJI Transmission" for remote monitoring and control of compatible gimbals.

The DJI RS 5 is a professional single-operator gimbal designed for heavy mirrorless cameras and cinema rigs with payloads up to 3 kilograms (6.6 pounds). It brings meaningful workflow improvements over the RS 4 — particularly the per-axis fine-tuning knobs and the Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module — and delivers the smoothest handheld stabilization I have used at this payload capacity. Battery life is exceptional. The briefcase handle, included in the Combo version, is nearly essential for heavy setups.

It offers the same stabilization technology that's found in its larger siblings, but in a significantly smaller and lighter package while also inheriting several features from DJI's Pro gimbals.
