Our editorial take on the Fujifilm X-T6
The Fujifilm X-T6 is currently the subject of intense online speculation, but it is critical to understand that this camera has not been officially announced or released. The current information landscape is composed entirely of rumors, speculative articles, and forum discussions. There are no credible hands-on reviews to analyze, and many discussions mistakenly reference different camera models entirely, such as the much older Canon Rebel T6. While the excitement indicates a strong demand for a new high-performance APS-C body from Fujifilm, any discussion of its features or performance is purely hypothetical at this stage.
As editors, we cannot offer a definitive take on a product that does not technically exist yet. The hype points toward high expectations, particularly around a new sensor and more intelligent autofocus capabilities, but these are just rumors. We advise any potential buyer to treat all current information with a healthy dose of skepticism. Until Fujifilm makes an official announcement, any purchasing decision would be based on conjecture rather than fact. We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide a full, hands-on review as soon as a final product is available.

My suggestion is to drop into the B&H SuperStore and try as many cameras as you like. Check the feel, the weight, the menu system, the viewfinder and LCD. If that isn’t possible, think about the camera attributes that are important to you.
While it is entirely possible Fujifilm will announce these cameras at some point, these product pages are entirely speculative placeholders and should not be taken seriously.
It's priced to sell, but does this modestly-upgraded Rebel have what it takes to beat its rivals? Its predecessor was a great pic two years ago, but how does the Canon T6 stack up in today’s camera market?
There is no review of the Fujifilm X-T6 in this article. The article is an archive page for August 2009, listing various product announcements and news from that month.
This DPReview Forums thread discusses rumors about the potential release of the Fujifilm X-T6 in September.
Despite being built around old tech, the Rebel T6’s low price tag may appeal to people on a budget who are choosing their very first DSLR. While I’m not envisioning a social media revolution at the hands of the Canon Rebel T6, I would say that its price tag and simple operation could see it do well in its own right as an entry-level DSLR.
