The GoPro MAX is GoPro's 360-degree action camera, released in October 2019. It captures 360 video at 6K (stitched to 5.6K) and 360 photos at 18MP (stitched to 16.6MP), with Max HyperSmooth stabilization and horizon lock to keep footage steady during action sports and movement. The camera is waterproof to 16 feet without a housing and features six microphones for immersive audio capture, voice control, and GoPro's familiar mounting system with a standard 1/4-20 thread. It also supports traditional GoPro digital lenses (Narrow, Linear, Wide, Max SuperView) when not shooting in 360 mode.

The MAX sits in GoPro's lineup as the brand's answer to consumer 360 cameras, designed for creators who want both 360 capture and traditional action cam versatility.
