Litepanels Gemini 1x1 Hard is a new RGBWW LED panel with 3,000 lux maximum daylight output at 3m (10ft) with a 46° beam angle. The white output of 2,700-10,000K has a high CRI/TLCI 98. There is full RGB control of over 16 million colors, 300 gels, and 11 customizable special effects. The light comes with Ultra-Light and Domed Diffusers and costs $2,250.
The Litepanels Gemini 1x1 Soft is essentially a smaller sized, more portable version of their larger Gemini 2x1 fixture. Just like the Gemini 2x1, the new 1x1 version is designed to be direct competition to the ARRI SkyPanel series, and it's a well built, fully featured fixture that produces a really nice quality of light.
Litepanels' new Hard and Soft Gemini lights are incredible tools that can be used for a variety of lighting situations, but the 1x1 Hard is the standout.
Capable of outputting a whopping 23,000 lux at 9.8 feet, we saw in the new LED a perfect opportunity to demonstrate the many hats a powerful, hard light can wear on a film set.
