The National Geographic Africa Series Medium Holster is more of a statement piece than a utilitarian tool, and for the right user, that's exactly its appeal. It trades the anonymous black nylon of typical camera bags for a rugged, traveler-inspired aesthetic crafted from high-quality canvas and leather accents. The construction feels durable, and it offers a stylish, discreet way to carry a camera without advertising a bag full of expensive gear. It’s a handsome accessory that happens to carry a camera, providing a level of sophistication that most camera holsters lack.

That said, its primary weakness is a significant one. The 'medium' designation in its name is optimistic at best and misleading at worst. This is a very small bag, perfectly suited for a mirrorless camera with a small prime or compact kit lens, or perhaps a premium point-and-shoot.
