Agreement

These terms govern your access to and use of Geared.co (the "Service"), operated by Geared ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Accounts

Accounts are created through Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials with those providers secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Acceptable use

• No spam, scraping, automated scraping, or reverse engineering.
• No harassment, hate speech, or illegal content.
• No impersonation, fake claims of ownership, or misleading affiliate disclosures.
• No interference with the Service's security or availability.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

User content

You retain ownership of content you submit (comments, ratings, claims, profile details). By submitting it you grant Geared a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the Service. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it.

Our content

Reviews, rankings, editorial text, and the underlying product database are owned by Geared or licensed to us. You may link to and quote short excerpts with attribution. Republishing significant portions requires written permission.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

Outbound links may earn Geared or a creator a commission. Prices, availability, and product details on retailer sites are controlled by those retailers and may change without notice. We are not responsible for purchases made on third-party sites.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Recommendations are editorial opinion, not professional advice. We do not guarantee accuracy of specs, prices, or availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geared is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion, including for violations of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
