The Hasselblad H6D-50c is a 50-megapixel medium-format DSLR built for studio and commercial work where image quality matters more than speed. With a 43.8 x 32.9mm CMOS sensor, 14 stops of dynamic range, and Hasselblad's Natural Color Solution, it delivers the exceptional tonal depth and color accuracy the brand is known for. The system includes dual card slots (CFast and SD), a 3-inch touchscreen LCD, Wi-Fi connectivity, and internal raw video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps.

The H6D-50c's strength is its meticulous image quality and robust lens ecosystem. Reviewers note the lenses are built entirely of metal with superb optical performance, and the improved rear screen is a welcome upgrade over earlier H-series models. However, this is a slow shooter. At 2.3 fps continuous and a top shutter speed of 1/2000 second, it's designed for deliberate, controlled capture, not action or spontaneity. The high price point and modest video specs also limit its appeal outside traditional commercial and fine-art photography.
