Our editorial take on the Mamiya 150mm f/3.5 Autofocus Lens for Mamiya 645AF, Phase One Body
The Mamiya 150mm f/3.5 is a short telephoto designed for the Mamiya 645AF system and Phase One digital backs. With a field of view equivalent to about 90mm in 35mm format, it slots into the classic portrait focal length territory, delivering a flattering perspective for head and shoulders work at comfortable shooting distances. Mamiya's five-element, fully multi-coated design is built to the brand's professional standards and promises strong contrast, color, and sharpness.
The lens features a pull-push clutch mechanism on the focus ring for switching between autofocus and manual modes, a practical solution for adapting to different shooting scenarios. At just 1.2 pounds and slightly over three inches long, it's compact enough to carry without bulk. The 58mm filter thread and marked depth-of-field scale add to its utility for working photographers. This is a used lens in excellent-plus condition, sold with caps and hood, and the price reflects the secondary market for medium format glass. It's not compatible with older Mamiya M645 manual focus bodies, so confirm your system before buying.

About this product
The Mamiya 150mm f/3.5 (210-611) is a short telephoto lens for the Mamiya 645 AF Series & Phase One Cameras. It produces a relatively narrow 27° angle of view roughly equivalent to a 90mm lens in 35mm format. The 150mm is superb for framing head and shoulders photography at distances that yield flattering perspective. While it's extremely popular as a portrait lens, the 150mm f/3.5 is indispensable and well suited to a variety of other uses including travel, editorial, and documentary photography. Mamiya only makes professional level equipment with high standards and quality control inspections at each stage of production. The 150mm f/3.5 is a classic five element fully multi-coated design that produces excellent contrast, color, clarity and bokeh. The focus ring incorporates a clutch mechanism, pulling the ring towards the camera selects manual focus and pulling the ring away from the camera selects autofocus. Close focus is 1.49m (4.9ft). Weighing just 1.2lbs and measuring just over 3 inches in length the 150mm f/3.5 is easy to handle and doesn't take up a lot of bag space. The 150mm f/3.5 is a really great lens, it's one of Mamiya's most popular lenses ever and a remarkable value.
