The Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 is a second-generation ultra-wide zoom designed for full-frame Nikon F-mount DSLRs. It offers a fast constant f/2.8 aperture across the zoom range and includes Vibration Compensation (VC) for stabilization, a feature relatively rare in ultra-wide lenses. The G2 revision brings updated optics and coatings aimed at reducing flare and chromatic aberration, along with refined autofocus performance.

At 15mm on the wide end, this lens covers dramatic landscape, architecture, and interior work, while the 30mm reach provides some compositional flexibility.
